Melamine board, short for "tricyan board," and fully known as melamine-impregnated decorative overlay plywood, is a type of engineered wood panel. It is manufactured by impregnating paper with colored or textured patterns into melamine resin adhesive, drying it to a specific curing stage, and then placing it onto substrates such as particleboard, moisture-resistant board, medium-density fiberboard (MDF), plywood, blockboard, laminated board, or other hard fiberboards, followed by hot pressing to form a decorative surface. During production, multiple layers of paper are typically combined, with the number of layers varying according to the intended application.
